Portraits

Enjoying the creative process is the focus of my practise. Working primarily with watercolour and pencil, I aim to create minimalist artworks that invite the viewer to disappear into the piece; just as I have done while creating it. I am hugely inspired by nature – the colours, animals and objects are many subjects within my most recent works. However, in contrast to this, fashion photography also inspires my portraiture work – usually working from a black and white copy of a photo I will incorporate my own colours to the piece.
